Yu Yu Hakusho: Character Bios

Good Guys

Koenma Daioh (Master Jericho)
Son of the great King Yama, and ruler of the Spirit World, Koenma is left in charge while his father is on vacation. Koenma may look as if hes a baby or little kid but really he is said to be over 700 years old. Koenma helps Yusuke through out the show he also teaches him some tricks such as the Rei Gun. Koenma asigns tasks for Yusuke to do. One thing that Koenma fears is when he makes his father angry.

Kazuma Kuwabara (Alfred)
Like Yusuke, Kuwabara is fourteen and can fight really well, Kuwabara is Yusuke's rival. Everyday in school Kuwabara challenges Yusuke to a fight and always looses. Fighting Yusuke and lossing only makes him want to fight more, Kuwabara will not rest until he has beaten Yusuke. Kuwabara would be classified as the second strongest kid in the school next to Yusuke.

Yusuke Urameshi (Eugene)
Yusuke is a fourteen-year old student at Sarayashiki Junior High. He gets very bad grades, skips class, and has zero tolerance for rude teachers. His temper gets him in to all kinds of trouble and many fist-fights, but Yusuke is a good fighter and knows how to handle his own. Yusuke is has a reputation of being the toughest kid in school and many kids fear him. Behind all that Yusuke life is really bad, his mom is an alcoholic and his dad is gone. When Yusuke is asigned the job of to be a Spiritual Detective he finds his true place in life.

Botan (Charlene)
Botan is a messenger from the Spirit World. After Yusuke is asigned to be a Spiritual Detective, Koenma asigns Botan to assist him. Yusuke tends to not pay attention to her knowledge and expirience during his adventures.

Youko Kurama (Dennis)
Kurama is actually a monster in a human form (but apears to be a young boy). He has lived over 300 years an posses much wisdom. He is usually a calm, but in battle he is a powerful, ruthless warrior. In the heat of battle Kurama shows no mercy.

Jaganshi Hiei (Vincent)
Hiei is a monster, he is a master swordsman, and has great power and speed. Strength and speed arent only his abilities, behind his bandanna on his forehead he has a third eye whitch posses mysterious powers. With his eye he can control humans, send telepathic messages, and move objects. Hiei is independent but will help those who help him.

Kayko Yukimura (Jenny)
Kayko is Yusuke's closest friend, they have known each other since they were little children. Although Yusuke would never admit it she is the person who he cares about the most. Kayko has no powers, but is the only one who can talk sense in to Yusuke when he is being selfish and ruthless. Kayko is one of the smartest people in the school, shes kind-hearted, respected, and friendly. She is brave and is not afraid to put her life on the line to help a friend.

Bad Guys

Gouki (Jerry)
A criminal from the Spirit World, Gouki escaped from prison and is loose in the human world. Yuske is asigned to capture him and take back a stolen item. Gouki is very strong and used his strength to kill over ten people thats were after him. When Gouki is in the heat of battle he will transform in to a monster called a Kyuukonki, a vicous monster that feeds on humans souls epsecially children.
