Fusions
Fusion Earings (Potaras)
These earings were created by the Kaiou-shins (Very old race of Over-Gods)Most of them were killed by Majin Buu when he first called on Bibi-di. The only survivors wore Potata earnings (Kaou-shin had a pair) but only Dai Kaiou-shin knew the potara fusion technique.
After Vegeta and Goku were brought apart from their Fusion, the earings were destroyed becuase Vegeta refused to Fuse with Goku again, well if you take into consideration that this fusion is permenant who would want to fuse with Goku :)
Fusion Dance
This involves two people preforming a dance. The people should be of equal strength and size to do this. The dance is preformed as a mirror of the other person and ended by the people touching fingers and saying FUSION-HA! This technique is not always relyable, because it is easily confused and completed wrong, resulting in a strange and unpleasent fusion. (Hence fat Gogeta). This type of Fusion only lasts for 30 minutes and after the fusion it takes 1 hour to recover from it.

Vegetto
Vegetto is the result of the fusion of Vegeta and Goku. Vegetto (most likely) is the strongest form of fusion that Goku and Vegeta do. Unfortunatly Vegetto is not in DBZ as much as I like. (pouts)He is very powerful and kicked the crap out of Majin Buu like he was a punching pag!
Goku and Vegeta first fused using Dai Kaiou-shin's Potara earings, after Buu had ate (consumed) Gohan. Vegeta at first did not want to fuse with Goku, he made a BIG fus about it, after a lot of this raving he finaly agreed to fuse. Fusion with the earings is permanent, but Vegetto was swallowed by Majin Buu to retrive Gohan and the other from inside him. (Buu liks to turn people into food)The magic of Buu (wow) canclled out the effects of the permanent fusion. Vegetto only appears with the earings (unfortunatly) not with the dance.
Gogeta
Gogeta is the result of the fusion between Goku and Vegeta using the fusion dance. Goku was the one that showed Vegeta how to do the Fusion dance, Vegeta, being stubborn as he is (smiles) let his Saiyan pride get in the way and refused to do the dance.
Finally aftet LOTS of convincing, Vegeta aggred to do the dance, however, during the dance Vegeta screwed up cause them to fuse wrong creating what we know as Fat Gogeta. Because of this failure, Jameba almost kills them. After a while they finally get it right and Gogeta kicks the crap out of Jameba. Vegetto's fusion is stronger hen Gogeta's.
Gotenks
Gotenks is the result of the fusion betwen Trunks and Goten. Gotenks was the first fusion ever to be completed correctly. The reason why Piccolo teached Goten and Trunks the fusion dance, was because Majin Buu was too powerful. The happened on the day Goku was granted leave to come back to the physical realm, becuase he was earlier killed by Cell, during that time he was showing off his SS3 form and told Piccolo how to teach the kids the dance. The dance took a long time to perfect, because one wrong move and look at Fat Gogeta and you know what happens. Gotenks best attack (I think) is the Super Ghost Kamekaze Attack" I love this move because he creates ghost froms of himself, that go after targets and eplode when the hit it. It's cool!
